Values in a relationship

Problems in relationship occur because each person is concentrating on what is missing in the other person. Whenever you're in conflict with someone, there are few factors that can make the difference between damaging your relationship and deepening it.

I was thinking about all the possible factors that we should consider in order to maintain a good healthy relationship with our partner for the last few days and finally came up with 5 such factors which can make the difference.

Respect : I consider that , RESPECT to each other is the most important key to hold a healthy relationship. You should pay respect to your partner. If you don't respect a person, then you wouldn't notice his /her good qualities. It is such a value in life, which only increases when you give it to others.

Responsibility : The second most important factor is RESPONSIBILITY. We have many duties in life. We have duties towards our parents, we have duties to our employer. Most importantly , we have duties to our partner. We must be aware of this responsibilities and should be ready to shoulder these. It’s that magic touch which can induce a lot of trust about you in your partners mind.

Understanding : Understanding is a two-way street. Both you and your partner should have good understanding about each other… liking, disliking etc etc . I believe that understanding can overcome any situation, however clumsy or insurmountable it may appear to be. A good and healthy relationship can only emerge based on faith and understanding.. Understanding and letting go is the mantra for having a peaceful mind. Anger and intolerance are the enemies of correct understanding.

Honesty : “Integrity is telling myself the truth. And honesty is telling the truth to other people.” Honesty is the base of all values. But does honesty mean that you should simply acknowledge your mistake to your partner? The answer is no. Not only should you accept your mistake in front of your partner, but you should accept mistake to yourself and admit that you are not perfect. But the road does not end there. There should be a real effort to improve yourself and not commit the same mistake again. This is the value of honesty.

Trust : Last but not the least, Trust..You can have all kinds of problems and disagreements with another person, but as long as the trust and respect are still there, the relationship can endure. Trust is the glue of life. It's the most essential ingredient in effective communication. It's the foundational principle that holds all relationships Mutual trust is vital. Lack of trust in your relationship certainly a great obstacle to maintain a healthy relationship. If you share something in confidence, you should be able to trust that the information will remain secret by the other side.

These are the five important factors that I consider are the most important values in a relationship.
Please feel free to comment to increase the list. Looking forward for your comment.

Rain :):):)

“Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby.....zzzzzzzz" After being fried at 45 degree for quite sometime here at hyderabad, this is the best phrase that came to my mind when I see the black cloud cover over the sky of Hyderabad. The best way to welcome her is to just go out and let her kiss you on the forehead.

There is something romantic in the rain that I can not explain with words- I guess this something that all of us-the rain lovers got in our souls

Rain is amazing. Rain is beautiful.

When it rains I just forget about the presence of others around me. The way the air feels just before the rain rolls in, Is simply awesome. I get goosebumps and at that time, if I can chill out with some country music , I'm in heaven. I love the tiny chatar chatar sounds that make everything seem so huge, so endless. Listening to those sounds, trying to find them while walking along a misty path is absolutely magical.

When it rains, I sit with my wet butt down in the wet grass, no longer caring if the neighbors see me, or what they might be thinking, and I just sit there in the rain, thunder and lightning creating the backdrop to the white noise. I love the feeling of rain falling on my face. I like the feelings that she bought for me.

P.S : This is bit incomplete..I wish readers will provide their valuable comment to make it complete.

Parsopotikria......aka Side effect.....of...prem....

What is love? Mark Twain rightly said : “Love is the irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired”. People who are in love, are healthier, happier and more active socially. It is often the case that, with love, comes an aura of beauty around women, and a sense of confidence and courage in men. Those who have never fallen in love, ( like me :P ) are missing out on a great deal. Love is a product I am trying to promote for my own selfish personal gains, which include, living in a more caring and loving society, talking to people who understand love and have loved, building relationships with people who know what relationships are. How do we identify if one’s is in love? Are there any possible signs and symptoms of love? What do you feel when you fall in love with someone? Is it important to have this? How do you conclude if you are in love? Take time to realize this? Just read this… 
Let us begin this from a the person’s point view who has fallen in love:

a) Self conscious being neat and clean : Just recall the college days. How your room looked like. Jeans are stacked on one side, your wallet has no permanent place so as your wrist watch, You almirah was never be the place to keep your tees. But ever since you have fallen in , your approach towards these stuff has also got changed. “Oh….how dirty this room is…how come people can stay in such unclean room? “ This sense brings in the urge to clean the house, arrange the almirah and then finally self consciousness. The dress sense will definitely take a better turn once you are in love with her. In the movie Kal Ho Na Ho , it is correctly mentioned infact :
Dhyaan Ab Apna Zyaada Rakhta Hoon ,Sochta Hoon Main Kaise Lagta Hoon
Aaina Ho To Dekh Leta Hoon.

b) Acceptance of flaws without complaints: Yes, in the state of limerence, you might just not be able to see any flaws with your object of love. With the passage of time however, when that stage has passed, you do recognize and realize that your beloved is neither godly nor flawless. In true love, these flaws are accepted without complaints and if necessary, compromises are consciously made

c) You never get bored of the person: Never.. as in, even after several years of knowing each other. Everyday, you can talk and chatter and never run out of words, or grow tired listening. You know everything about him/her and yet he/she continues to amuse you.

d) Day Dreaming: Always is thinking about the future, in short ambitious always associated with loss of hearing. You will only come back to reality when you got a kick on you a** or got a tight slap from your friend.

e) Phone bill OMG !!!! : One of the most important factor. At the end of the month, when you got your mobile phone bill you will realize that you have utilized your phone a little heavily last month. Then and there you take resolution, that this month, I have to restrict my phone calls. But at the night…..hmmmm…who cares…bill..let it come…I will manage…….and then the same thing at month end…may be a lil less or lil high.s

f) Money….who cares  : Yap. “Save money for your future”. Elders always use the same phrase. ( Don’t know how they have the same thinking frequency). But to secure a great future we need to spend money right. So go for spending some money. Believe me, I have seen a guy who was not that shopping addicted previously, had turned into a Shopping Specialist. And that too only after he fall in love. Isn’t it a side effect?

Well, these symptoms are for real, but it takes time for you to confirm them. If you have already lived for several years with your beloved, you will be able to relate to them. And for those who are still new in the relationship, hang in there for the infatuation to pass and the real emotions and feelings to emerge.

In the end I like to mention a famous quote made on Love. I cant recall the exact phrase but it is something like this : “…love is knowing all about someone, and still wanting to be with them more than any other person, love is trusting them enough to tell them everything about yourself, including the things you might be ashamed of, love is feeling comfortable and safe with someone, but still getting weak knees when they walk into a room and smile at you”

So my suggestion is whatever may be the side effect, go for it. Its not at all harmful. Enjoy every moment of love life…. 

Top 4 Scariest airports

For last few weeks I have been doing some serious research to find out that what are the worlds most scariest airports. Finally I think that I am done with that and I have a list of almost 4 such airports which can be considered as World’s scariest airports. Now its time to blogging them
1) Princess Juliana International Airport : (also known as Sint Maarten International Airport) serves the Dutch part of the island of Saint Martin. It is the third busiest airport in the Eastern Caribbean, The airport serves as a hub for Windward Islands Airways and is the major gateway for the smaller Leeward Islands, including Anguilla, Saba, St. Barthélemy and St. Eustatius. It is named after Juliana of the Netherlands, who ascrown princess landed here in 1944, the year after the airport opened. There is also an airport on the French side of the island near Marigot, Incoming airplanes approach the island on short final for
Runway 10 flying low over the famous Maho Beach. At any other airport aircraft fly at the same altitude at that point in the approach.

Scared….Ok let me show you one video on youtube. Just watch this video :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAfQwDizpRo&NR=1
2) Second position goes to Juancho Yrausquin Airport (Sabiha) : It is the only airport on the Caribbean island of Saba, in the Netherlands Antilles. It is well known among experienced fliers for the way in which airplanes must approach or take off from the airport. The danger arises from the airport’s physical position. First of all, the runway at the airport is extremely short. It is flanked on one side by high hills, and on the other side and at both ends of the runway by cliffs dropping into the sea. This creates the possibility that an airplane could overshoot the runway during landing or takeoff and end up in the sea or on the cliffs.

3) Courchevel (France ) airport : Courchevel Airport is a French airport that serves Courchevel, a ski area. The airport has a very short runway of only 525 metres(1722ft) with gradient of 18.5 %. There is no go-around procedure in this airport. De Havilland Twin Otter and Dash 7 have served the airport, but now more Cessnas and helicopters serve the airport.
The airport is considered dangerous, having a difficult approach, an upslope runway and a hill. The airport’s elevation is at 6588ft. Interestingly this airstrip was used during the shooting of the first scene of the movie “Tomorrow Never Dies”

4) Lukla Airport (Nepal) : Also known as Tenzing-Hillary Airport. : The airport is popular since Lukla is the place where most people start their climb of Mount Everest. The single bitumen runway is 527 metres (1,729 ft) long, 20 metres (66 ft) wide, and has a 12% grade. The altitude of the airport is 2,860 metres (9,380 ft).Sirens inform folks for miles when an airplane is landing here, and as you would suspect, only helicopters and Twin Otter type planes can handle the 2,000 foot, uphill runway that is fenced off at the end, to protect you from the edge of a mountain cliff. As for take off? When you take off, you go downhill and then the runway just disappears into the valley down below. If you don’t get enough speed, you drop until you get lift and then hopefully get back up again.

There are several other airports also which can be fitted into this list, but to me these are the top 4 scariest airports of the world. Feel free to provide your thoughts on this.

Rajneeti...The Movie ...

Finally RAJNEETI released. Yes I am talking about the Prakash Jha’s multi starrer movie RAJNEETI. Rajneeti is the story of Indian politicians and their thirst of power among members after the death of the family head. Prakash Jha, the film maker is much concerned about social problems in the society and he continues to expose those issues through his films.
There are speculations that Katrina Kaif who looks fairest of all Indian actresses was cast in the lead role as she has some similarity to the Italian born Sonia Gandhi. But no there is is no reference to any politician and definitely not Sonia Gandhi which had been widely speculated before.
It is completely based on the storyline of great epic MAHABHARAT, add with a little sprinkle of the movie God Father.
Rajneeti is about the struggle between two cousins- Prithvi (Arjun Rampal) and Veerendra (Manoj Bajpai).Veerendra believes that it is his birth right to become the leader of the party and he would get it at any cost. To achieve his goal, he teams up with Sooraj (Ajay Devgan), a powerful Dalit leader .
Samar ( Ranbir Kapoor ) never thought of being a politician but fate has different plans for him. He ended up into politics and becomes one of the top players. With the proper help from Brij Gopal ( Nana Patekar).
Prithvi’s character is related to Bhim while Samar’s is Arjun, Veerendra is Duryodhona and Brij Gopal is Lord Krishna.
The best thing about the movie is that it has a very rich script. In the first half the movie is bit fast and you will get acquainted with the characters and the inner workings of the system. The second half is bit slower than the first half, but it is the time when you will come to know who is playing what game.
Besides the politics, there is good chemistry between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. The popular couple worked earlier in ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani’.In Rajneeti Katrina plays the role of Indu Prakash who falls in love with Samar (Ranbir). But ended up marrying Arjun Rampal and then becomes the CM of the state.
The duration of the movie is 2 hours and 40 mins and demands serious attention. Prakash Jha has done a very good job here. Over the years, he made some great political movies , Gangaajal (2003), Parinati (1988), Rajneeti is just another feather to his crown of success.
